Profile

Deadlines and accuracy are sacred. I cannot read a book, web site, magazine or newspaper without finding any existing typo. When I find one, I cringe. I know what makes a book work and am detail-oriented. When I edit a book, I want to help the author make it sing to the readers. I totally immerse myself in whatever I write and edit, to the point if I get stumped, I either sleep on it, listen to a CD or pull weeds in my garden. The solution usually surfaces when I return to my desk.
